As you can see, I’ve embraced the gorgeous scarves and warm layers necessary to fend off catching a cold—and might I just say, they look lovely. However, someone at work caught a rather aggressive cold and it spread through the office like wildfire. I’m one of the many victims, and I’m going to spend the next few days getting plenty of fluids and wrapping myself in tissues.
“You have to kiss a few frogs before you meet your prince.” That’s something I’ve been told more than once. Thankfully, meeting them doesn’t mean I have to kiss them.
It’s been a crazy month for me, and I’m absolutely knackered! Today is blissfully quiet and plan-free.
In early 2016, Cole and I took a vacation to Thailand; it was my first time there. We spent a week in Bangkok and a week in paradise, aka Ko Phra Tong. I’m usually a little nervous about trying out new foods, especially spicy stuff, but the street vendors certainly know what they’re doing. I discovered the wonder of Pad See Ew, stir-fried noodles, and I was hooked instantly.
