Today I styled both Willow and Anne, pushing each of them slightly out of their comfort zones, but keeping their personal aesthetic in mind. I know Anne is a sucker for that floral print, and she likes soft, feminine looks. She’s not especially thrilled with heels or pencil skirts, but I think she looks fantastic all the same.
Tomorrow, after work, I’ll be escorting Willow to the airport; she’s going to be spending the next week visiting some friends in Italy.
Cole arranged his vacation with the standard Easter vacation his company provides, so we’ve taken advantage with a staycation of sorts; it’s been wonderful having him around so much.
As you already know if you read the creation post, Anne chose two loud, floral pieces for our capsule wardrobe. If I’m being completely honest, I was apprehensive when she did so—one would have been okay, but two? I had my doubts. That being said, I can sometimes admit when I’m wrong, and this is one such instance.
So far, the floral pieces have turned out to be decently versatile.
You know by now that I like comfort, versatility, and simplicity in my wardrobe. I enjoy a good, basic outfit that probably won’t need to change with the trends.
