Artisinal Ink

Well hello, handsome!

He started as your standard BMR1959 articulated Ken doll. But through an incredible face repaint by the immensely skilled Betty of @allthelittledolls , we were introduced to, and swept off our feet by: Logan

Recently, I decided that Logan should take the plunge and get himself some epic body art, done by the talented @justay_artwork.

I liked the final result of the faceup and inking so much that I felt like it was time to try and overcome my fear of making terribly shaky, low-production value videos (you can also find this on Instagram).

On a personal note: Thank you to the help team for talking me through how TF to get this on the blog, because OMG, without you I’d be bald from ripping my hair out.

Anyway, for those not into videos that may or may not be the worst doll glowup videos in history, here are some pictures:

Doll customization is a world full of creativity, artistry, and self-expression.  Logan is a testament to the talented artists who breathe life into these playscale figures .  I’m so beyond thrilled with his final form.  He’s definitely “Kenough”.

What do you think of his new look?  Moira seems to think it's pretty great
