Okay, so, little cringey here, but it’s proof that these two dolls look good in absolutely everything.

OOAK Repainted Made to Move and Curvy Made to Move Barbie - Eve and Moira - Boho Floral Blouse Barbie Fashion.jpg

This was one of my home-made outfit projects, back when I still thought I could sew without patterns.  Ah, those were the days of youth and foolishness.  The uneven hemline and the giant stitches are particularly attractive.

I’d just had some success making a strapless maxi dress for Eve that came out nice, what I didn’t seem to grasp was that a strapless maxi dress was pretty much just a tube of fabric.  This blouse is still a series of tubes, but they’re slightly more detailed and, as you can see, I struggled a bit (a lot!

I admit this blouse was tough to get on Moira – not because of her her arms, which I thought might be an issue, but because of her bust!  Her chest was a little too large for the blouse, and I think it likely would have been even without my slight body modifications. I had to let the blouse out just a bit, and because I have no idea what I’m doing, it was an adventure (a torturous nightmare)

Hopefully I can find some more fabric and give this sewing project an update.  I’d love to have a top like this (or several) when I take this lovely lady with me to Thailand at the end of the month and I actually have several patterns waiting to be used.

Thanks for stopping in & I’ll see you next time :)
