Capsule Wardrobe # 4 - 6

Capsule Wardrobe # 4 - 6

I’m flying solo with this post, but I want to keep ahead of my self-imposed deadline of a single month(ish) for all thirty outfits, so I’ll be displaying three outfits today.

Two of the outfits have been shown previously on the blog, but both incorporated only items that made it into the capsule wardrobe so, technically, they count. Don’t worry, though, we’ve got plenty of new combinations headed your way.

Outfit four – the details of which can be seen here.

And, last but not least, outfit six:

I think I may have taken a small step toward being considered a local this week. It’s been warm(ish), in the low teens—that’s low 50’s, for those using Fahrenheit—and yet, to me it’s felt downright summery, even when it rained yesterday. I’ve found myself draping light jackets over my shoulders rather than actually wearing them, and feeling comfortable for the most part. So today, this beautiful, lace cardigan was a logical, stylish choice; not too warm, not too cold.

While I love my jeans (aka my second skin), I wanted something that would let me feel the breeze a bit more, while not giving my near glow-in-the-dark skin legs a sunburn; my floral maxi was the answer. There’s a bit of layering going on, making it look more like a long skirt than the strapless dress it actually is. I love the final result, it’s a very comfortable, laid back look.

Just in case you missed what I’m up to this month, I’ve decided to give myself a 10-piece-capsule wardrobe challenge that I’m bound and determined to create 30 unique looks from.  The first three can be found here.  I’m not sure what bug flew into my bonnet to make me think this was a good idea, but here we are all the same.

Thanks for stopping by, hopefully we’ll get through this together.
