Moira Visits Den Grønne Sti

Moira Visits Den Grønne Sti

Copenhagen in the spring is almost unreasonably pretty. We go from dark, cold, seemingly endless winter into this:

The shift is practically overnight. It's almost enough to make you forget how bleak it's been for what feels like a year-long winter...almost.

Everything is suddenly green, the sun peeks out, the trees bloom, and it feels like the whole city is showing off. If you like the smell of lilacs (and I do), my neighborhood right now is basically paradise.

After dropping Loki at the groomer, I decided to have a little photoshoot with Moira. Den Grønne Sti (The Green Path) is 8km of greenery dedicated to cyclists and pedestrians, winding through Nørrebro, Frederiksberg, and Valby. It's not a tourist landmark, but if you're visiting and you like strolling through nature in the middle of a sprawling city, it's worth your time.

I feel really fortunate to live in a city that provides such a range of backdrops. The Copenhagen Royal Ballet, Pistolstræde, the Botanical Gardens, Tivoli at Halloween: this is just the latest addition to the list, and I fully intend to take advantage of the nice weather before we enter the next mini ice age.

Moira, an OOAK repainted Made to Move Curvy Barbie with long strawberry blonde hair, stands among densely flowering white blossom trees. She is wearing a peach off-shoulder crop top with ribbon-tied sleeves and light blue distressed flare jeans.

This lovely green space is close enough to everything that one could treat oneself to a brownie espresso milkshake without having to go far. Highly recommended after a stressful day.

Have a great weekend!
