Dry Brushing Is Magic

Our generation is just a little “too big” for Barbie scale, but I’m still pretty happy with some of the items that I’ve gotten that’s intended for the 18” dolls.  But sometimes a little too big is better than a little too small. 

Recently, I purchased some second-hand bits on the equivalent of Danish craigslist – thankfully, neither of us were serial killers and I ended up with this pie:

Cute, right?  And it has nice texture, which made this so much easier.  Sidenote:  Please forgive the McDonald’s napkins.  I actually dry-brushed this on my lap, on the bus.  That’s how quick and easy it is. And here’s the result:

Is it perfect?  No, I’m not big on perfection.  Is it better?  I think so! 

If you haven’t tried dry-brushing, you’re missing out.
